wheeee. it's 6.10 am and i'm awake!
i'm FINALLY done with my essays. and it's exactly one week to my first paper.
sian. this sem die already lar.
anyway, since everyone's talking about it, i shall give my 2 cents (or even more) worth.
yup i'm talking about the dawn yeo/yang and her plastic surgery issue, which i don't really understand why everyone's going onnnnnnnn and onnnnnn about it.
she hasn't exactly admitted to going under the knife and everyone's flaming her for being dishonest.
Geez man. she only had like one day of fame on The New Paper and she's already the talk of the town for something as trivial as plastic surgery.
i mean, seriously, what's wrong with wanting to look good? looking at her before and after pictures (if those are really her before photos), i would say she looks much much better now, stunning in fact, and i don't see the crime if she did some restructuring to her face.
so give her a break CAN?
that's how humans are. irritatingly judgemental and just-can't-wait-to-put-people-down. why can't we be more supportive? this girl could very well create a name for Singapore and here we are shooting her down even before anything started.
and it's strange that the more people can't stand her, the more they wanna visit her blog and critisize her photos, her writing, her this, her that, her blahblahblah.
it's weird how human minds work. i'm not saying that i'm not guilty of that. i do visit certain blogs regularly and talk about them with my friends, and sometimes even i'm victim myself.
side note: yes, i do know that we can't please everyone and i don't really bother much for visitors who leave brainless comments and not leave their names. i should really be ignoring them, but i feel sorry for these mentally retarded pple so i'll try to reply them if i can (but if i don't promise me u won't commit suicide k?)
anyway.
i think it's spastic that the more we don't like someone, the more we wanna know/read about the person's life. tsk. human nature.
i say we should all just go back to being apes and live peacefully scratching each other's back instead of stabbing, picking each other's fleas instead of on each other.
