i never knew how wayang i can be in an interview.
yesterday i had an interview that lasted an hour and a half. OMG. damn long can! it was pretty nervewrecking and the guy was just throwing me scenarios to test how i would handle certain situations.
and of cos, being a true blue arts student, i basically wayang-ed and smoked my way throughout the interview.
so anyway, the interview i went for is a position in the sports marketing group in this global events company which i shall not named. it's realllyy, realllyyy coool cos i get to pitch and promote international sporting events to big shots around the world. and the comission rawks too.
but whether i'm good at it is another different story la. hurrr. the fun part is i get to be involved in events like world cup, grand prix, golf opens and even the upcoming 2008 Olympic summer games in Beijing! SO EXCITINGGGG!!!
and yes i got shortlisted, went for my 2nd round of interview today and was offered a place. WHhhheeeeeeeeee.
the only thing now is that i was called up for another interview as a management associate in a banking industry (which i shall not named too). and MA programs are good because they groom u up for managerial positions.
siansation.
i would think being a MA has a better prospect in the long run. BBUUUUUTTT i have more interest in the sports management one.
sigh. i think i'm damn fickle la.
sianded.
i should stop thinking so much.
and i miss the nus team. but there's like not much of it left anymore. it's all so scattered and disoriented. no sense of belonging whatsoever.
it's times like these words from the dragonboat team rings in my head.
who do u row (paddle) for? yourself? or the team?
oh well.
