foooooooooooooooooood

lately the bf and i have been pretty much into food. every weekend we try and find a nice place to dine at.

a little more than 2 weeks ago was our one year anniversary where we had italian food and on his birthday we ate at morton's. 2 days ago we ate at Shima, some jap bbq buffet at esplanade and i absolutely lurrrrrrveeeeeeeeed it.

firstly, i'm so into the whole seoul garden bbq thingy and shima was exactly like it except it's alot classier. somehow cooking the food yourself is a whole different experience altogether. and with $7 more u get to order other jap side dishes too(sashimiiiiiiiiiiii! yumyum). original price is $28++ i think. if u're a fan of seoul garden, you wouldn't wanna miss this.

secondly, i enjoy hanging out at esplanade. surprisingly it was pretty quiet for a weekend, which isn't a problem for me of cos. i absolutely DETEST crowds. the whole fireworks festival experience was truly traumatizing. so anyway, there's just something about the esplanade that appeals to me. the bf and i were just sitting around after dinner with our stomachs round and full, enjoying the breeze and listening to some live band/performance going on at the outdoor theatre thingy. how romanticccccc. hurs. i love simple outings like that, nothing too fanciful.

oh maaaan it's truly a sign of aging. or maturing, to put in nicer terms. nowadays, i just wanna nua and chill on my non working days, which is like, a pathetic one and a half day out of the whole week since half my sat is burnt (BAHHH). i feel bad when i can't meet up with my friends (hurrs i can see stella and gang or my AC peeps rolling their eyes at me) but i'm pretty much dead tired after work and weekends are my paktor days (yes yes i admit i'm your typical sexbeforefriends kinda girl). i promise to meet up with u guys when i'm more or less settled down in my work! heeeeee. no worries, i still look the same, maybe a little chubbier in the wrong places. hurs.

so anyway, i think i'm digressing since my main topic is supposed to be abt food. i'm falling asleep though (SEE SEE and it's only 11pm!!! how unhaps can!). this weekend's highlight will be brunch at Dan Ryan's!! YUM YUM. i want my ham and bacon and pancakes! *drools*
