finally...

....i'm back from KL and Penang. and officially retired as a competitor (yes nio and jen i can see u rolling your eyes but it's TRUEEEE)

ended off pretty well with another 2 golds to my collection. wheee! (ya lah damn COCKY but it's probably the last chance for me to say this waaaaat. hurhur) but anyhow, i think the girls doubles gold medal should be shared with pee-ing ong and cai yihui cos i think it was a really close race and i saw how they fought to the end (i could hear them let's go-ing throughout the race while i was wheezing away). whatever it is, i'm proud of all the girls for giving their best despite the gross water conditions. i hardly think it's about how strong or how good your strokes are but more of luck in catching and riding the waves at the correct timing.

and i've finally gotten my mixed gold with the bf. YAYYY. according to peiying ong, it's the power of LUURRRVVEEE (wahaha how cheesy). after round ubin, i thought we were like not fated to paddle together la. PLUS I LOST MY RING BOOHOOOOOO. so i thought it was like a definite omen, you noe, maybe we'll sink halfway or something like we did in ubin. and i was feeling depressed and miserable. my finger now feels naked. i can't believed i wore it on my toe. baaaaaaaaah. i need fatter toes. the longan-like creatures (no jen it's not horseshoe crabs) are probably feasting on it.

all in all i think the trip was pretty fun, with the first day in KL spent at the indoor amusement park in Times Square. it's ironic how the bigger sized pple were terrified of roller coasters (lalala i shalln't mention names hurrr). and we ate the best mian amongst cockroaches and rats (eeew). surprisingly there wasn't much shopping to do cos this time round i wasn't going crazy over shorts and t-shirts like my previous trips. and their working clothes there were kinda far-eastish, made of dodgy-looking materials.

so anyway, amidst the scandals and drama (days of our lives, anyone? contact me! haha), i pretty much enjoyed myself. it was more a holiday for me than a competition , and for the bf it was more of a food-hunting trip. belle if u're reading this, DOM WAS FLIRTING WITH MIMI!! u gross pig. anyhows, i love the penang prawn mee. other than that, there was nothing much. oh and the 9 RM movie (which could have been 6RM if we chose the haunted apartments wahaha). Eragon sux la, dam cheesy. the r/ship between the eragon and his dragon seem kinda incestuous. reminds me of kingkong and the woman. yucks.

one more week to the start of work. yawnnn. with the rainy weather, i predict i'm gonna be sleeping most of it away. hursss. and CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!! wheeeeeeeeeee. i've got 2 xmas dinners to attend. yayyyyyy more turkeys to eat :D

and I WANT PHOTOSSSSSSSS!! i've yet to get the regatta photos too. BAaaaaaaaaahhhh.
