i got some email newsletter thingy this morning at work and the heading was some story about our chairman. and i read 'chairman' as 'chinaman' wahahhaha.

ok not funny. but when u see the sentence and insert chinaman into it it's alot funnier. too bad it's for internal circulation so i can't share it here.

i'm feeling abit lazy to blog recently (what else is new), so i was just visiting my blog counter to check on my readership (yes i'm boh liao). and guess what, it went up! crazy rite, i don't blog and yet pple are still coming here daily. sobs. i'm utterly touched.

so anyway, there was this night some time last week where the boyfriend was sending me home and he was just telling me how he loves advertisements done by the yellow pages cos they're like how innovative n yadahyadah. n as usual, i'm doing my usual thang, u noe, half listening and half pretending to listen, of which i got caught red handed by the bf.

the bf: i think the yellow pages ads are damn cool! they're quite innovative blahblahblahblah...

and so i believed he was expecting some response from me. of which i thought i was being clever by giving a safe reply like:

"huh, ok only la, i don't really remember much of the yellow fingers ads"

the bf: SIMI YELLOW FINGERS?? SEE SEE U'RE NOT LISTENING!!

wahahahaha. whooooooooooooooooooooops.

in my defense, i WAS listening ok. but if you DO recall the yellow pages ad, it's always about this pair of yellow colored walking fingers. i mean, isn't that their icon too?? so it's not my fault for calling it yellow fingers waaaaat. boooooohooo scold me, so mean :(
