on christmas eve yesterday, on the way to the driving range at marina bay golf course in the afternoon

it was pretty crowded so we had to go right to the top, which wasn't sheltered so u can imagine how hot it was. but wasn't too bad la cos it's rather windy at the top since it's 3 storeys above (or was it 4?)

along the way to his place around his estate, we spotted this huge blow-up santa at someone's balcony. some pple have too much money sia. but it's damn cute!

and after dinner it was on to gifts exchange!! yes yes my earlier post i was ranting abt the whole idea of giving presents. PMS can? it was actually quite fun la :) i think it's just the whole christmas mood. so warm n fuzzy.

and today it was a christmas gathering for my family's side at my place. my relatives are more cheena chinks so it was more of curry, beehoon, o-tah, fishballs, sambal prawns kinda food. but we did end off dinner with a logcake for dessert. hurhur. and before we ate, one of my aunts proposed a min's silence in honour of my mom, which i felt.....a little weird. but anyhow, a christmas gathering wasn't usually a norm, but they were all really sweet to come over to give my dad some support :)

i have so many cousins, aunties and uncles that can total up to almost 50+. but i like big families! it was kinda nice to have such a vibrant and happy atmostphere in the house again :) some people say big families can be a pain, but i really appreciate my many relatives, thanks to my grandfather and his 2 wives haha.
