3.11pm...

....and i'm home on a saturday afternoon, enjoying every bit of it. i'm sprawled on my bed, with my laptop infront of me surfing randomly, and the animal planet channel in the background. such is life. when u start working, u appreciate lazy afternoons at home, just doing nothing and nua-ing away without feeling guilty. and yes, i'm enjoying some me-time without the bf around too. i think he's somewhere at home sleeping. hurs.

so anyway.

paddled 10km this morning and it was pretty fun. and for once this week, it's bright and sunny! woooot. if i have to wake up early, it better not be raining. nothing beats sleeping in when it's raining and u're all snuggled up under the comforts of your fluffy pillows and blanket. oh maaaan i sound like a pig.

so last night i met my best friends for supper at the new spanking T3! yup we went allllllllll the way to the airport. to eat half boiled eggs and kaya toast at ya kun. how retarded were we. but it's for liyan to clock her mileage since she just got her NEW HONDA FIT and we were her first invited passengers! wheeeeeeeeeee. reminds me of how excited i was when i first got my car, but now i totally detest driving. and cab drivers. and motorcylists (the ones that zig zag all over). and drivers who cut my lane. and tail gaters. and right lane hoggers crawling at 10km/hr. facking cheesepies.

and i miss my blue egg. the swift suckkkkkkkkkksssssss. no offense to swift owners cos i'm jus being plain anal since i'm a creature of habit. talking abt cars, it just reminded me of how over a year ago, there seemed to be a shortage of car transport among the nus canoeing peeps whenever we're heading anywhere after training. back then there were probably just 2 or 3 cars available and squeezing like ribena berries in a single vehicle was such a norm.

just 1 year later, the numbers of cars seemed to have increased 10 fold:

now we're spoilt for choice. Mitsubishi? Nissan? Honda? Toyota? Kia? Hyundai? Mercs? Mazda? you name it, we have it. it's like a convoy everytime we drive out with like 8-10 cars in a line. retarded sia. either cars are getting cheaper or people are getting richer. tskkk.

so anyway. we had a good time catching up and it just reminds me how fortunate i am to have friends like them. no pretense or superficials since i grew up with these monkeys and they have seen every ugly side of me, and yet love me for who i am( u better lor. HAHA) and lam we didn't forget u cos gao tagged u in facebook. hurhurs.

dinner tonight with relatives and bbq at the bf's friend's place. i feel lazy thinking about how i have to get my ass out of my bed. heeeeelllpppp.
