Happy New Year!

and so for the whole of last week, i was in kuching for our company's annual sales meeting combined with m'sia. not very fun cos it was raining ALL DAY LONG. so we were stuck in the resort for 4 days. the itinery included going out for seafood but due to warnings of king tidal waves and flooding in the city area, the plan was cancelled. boooo.

the resort itself wasn't too bad actually, when the weather was clear. which lasted for like, half a day out of the 4 days we were there. zzzz.



and for that half a day that wasn't raining, we were brought out for a cultural tour which was.....as interesting as watching my nails grow.

and evidently, we found ways to entertain ourselves.

and for our gala night, the theme was STREET WEAR. as u can see, i'm more of sports wear. wahahaha.

yeaaahhhh!

and then, it was back to s'pore for our company's teambuilding activity to end off the sales meeting officially for 1st half of the year. it was pretty stressful cos i had to plan and coordinate, and being a sports person, they have no choice but to plays sports. muahahaa.

and we ended off at timbre @ old school! it was really convenient since being the old mgs primary school, the field and courts were right beside it. but we had to rent it of course. but i realize it really isn't easy to plan a teambulding activity for the whole company, cos you can't please everyone. but i'm glad everyone had fun. yayness.

and last weekend, we decided to catch up with lampy before he leaves again for adeleide.

and next to me, gao looks very......pasty. like a tou fu. gao u obviously need another 10 hours under the sun.

and so, it has been a pretty fruitful january to start 2009 with, but according to chinese traditions, the official start of 2009 is marked by chinese new year, so i guess it's a good end to 2008? hurs.

reunion dinner tonight. yayness. i love steamboats cos i feel like i can eat and eat and still feel healthy LOL.
