i see cobwebs...

so it's been 3 months since i last blogged. not that i've been exceptionally busy, more of just plain lazy, although there are added responsibilities at work now, it's a happy kind of busy (albeit stressed at times but manageable), so it's all good :)

the reason for my sudden urge to blog is cos there isn't any good shows on tv lately. no more american idol, no more survivor, no more america's next top model. blehs. and i'm left with watching red thread and ultimatum, which sad to say, IT SUCKS.

the acting on red thread is unbearable. other than adrian pang being the saving grace (though abit overtly drama at times), the rest are painful to watch. julian hee is trying too hard, eunice olsen has only one expression, and celeste chong....omg. she has this gek chio buay chio face and she seriously looks like a pancake.

and as for ultimatum....errrrr. it's a far cry from little nonya can (omg i miss that show). no doubt the cast are all veteran actors and actresses, but seriously, it can't save the plot of the show. it's trying too hard too be those drama mama hongkong serials. but hellllllllooooooooo, this is singapore. we're already trying to battle the swine flu and economic crisis. how realistic can swopped babies and king of gamblers be? the plot itself is making is as bad as red thread. gosh. it's seriously an ultimate flop. to think they were trying to hype it up with all the dramatic music and snippets of it before the debut. what a big disappointment.

on a totally different note, i think singapore has wayyy too many cars. or either that, we're not working hard enough. i was driving back to work at 3pm on a tuesday afternoon and guess what. there was HEAVY TRAFFIC on the PIE.

where the hell did all these cars come from???

late lunches (like me)? early knock off?? too many cars in s'pore???

or maybe, these pple are too rich to work and they spend their afternoons zipping around singapore.

i was appalled.

or maybe it's just PIE. forever heavy traffic. i'm never staying anywhere which requires me to travel via PIE. i heart my west coast highway.

ok maybe its just me. i get angsty when i drive lol

9pm. time to watch retarded shows.
