monday blues

OMG.

i SWORE there was an earthquake this morning. like a really slight one.and it happened not once, but TWICE!!!

i felt the first tremble around 9+ in the morning. at first i thought maybe it's my body or sth. u noe, since my office is pretty cold maybe i'm shivering internally or something. so yea, i brushed it off. and then around 2.30pm i felt the tremble AGAIN!! this time round it was like my table and desktop vibrating too. like WTF can. and the water in my bottle was vibrating too. if u watched jurassic park u would noe wat i mean. like OMG. i was just telling zhu the other day that disasters seemed to be occuring in odd years (e.g. 9/11 in 2001, SARS in 2003, Tsunami in 2005), and how the even years seemed pretty peaceful.

and it's like the odd year again this year!!! OH MAN. we're all gonna die la. we should just stop working, quit studying, spend all our money travelling around the world. wooohooo. it's been like my dream to visit the 7 wonders of the world before i die.

ok i'm being morbid.

so anyway, on mornings when i decide to have macs for breakfast (it's only $2!), i'll walk along isetan at lido and admire all the pretty bags in the window. Lowe, Celine, Dior, Chanel, Salvatore Ferragamo, Fendi etc, just sitting there staring back at me and i'll be thinking wahhh that design/color's so pretty or oooooh i think that bag will look nice with what i'm wearing. so yea, after i'm done with these bimbo thoughts i'll just remind myself nahhhhh, i rather save for a house.

my point being?

i'm so proud of my practicality. and so will mimi. although i did hint for a gucci bag with his first paycheck. so no treat for anybody cos it'll all be on me! MEEEeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

wahahah. ok i'm kidding. i still rather he save for a house too. OUR house. hopefully of cos. then again, the world might end by then. maybe in a few hrs, the ground will vibrate again, crack open and swallow me up.

ok i'm talking nonsense.

but yea, i don't get these branded bags sometimes. $5000+ for a bag?? like wth. with that amt i can probably buy a nice, comfy sofa for my new home. or a nice grand piano for my kids. maybe im not at that age yet. maybe 5 years down the road i'll be changing from brands to brands every 3 mths. hurhurrs.

and i want to go on a holidayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy boohooooooooo. i need to get out of my cubicle. customers keep popping in and asking the dumbest questions. this woman came in to ask if i could get the prosperity package (some CNY package for exchange of new notes la, not prosperity meal) for her through underhand means. a.k.a, jump the queue for her. HELLLOOOOOOOOOOO, what do i look like to u?? siaoooooo.

went back acjc today to check out the canoeing training. sigh. i feel sentimental and nostalgic all over. i missed those crazy trainings and 10 rounds warm up kinda thing. not that i wanna do that now la. but its kinda fun to be tortured together, push ups after push ups. i'm such a sadist. i missed doing circuits and i missed paddling at kallang. i missed the butterflies in my stomach feeling before each training and the wanna die and collaspe feeling after each training.

sigh. i missed the ac spirit. boohoooo. i wanna go back acjc. or even mgs. i wanna be a kid again!!

oh well. i'm sleepy.
