since my shoulder surgery last dec, my exercise regime has been rather slipshot. gone were the days of running 10-15km at least 3 times a week (in preparation for stand chart 42km, i'm not that hardcore), or paddling/gym at least 3 times a week.
and now post-lasik, more excuses to just come home after work and n.u.a away.
which makes me feel like a blob.
so on with my shoes and off to the stadium where i attempted 6 rounds, a distance whenever i feel lazy to run, but force myself to drag my ass for 2.4km to make myself feel better.
omgggggggggg, i was wheezing like an old woman. was convincing myself that my snail's pace was good to prevent sweating too much so it wouldn't drip into my lasik-ed eyes.
and i clocked a miserable 16mins. for 2.4km!!! is that considered a fail for ippt back in jc (was it even called ippt?) ?? wah laus. how did i even manage 11.3o just 6 months ago. and to think my PB was 10.50.
kaoz.
maybe i should just stick to my weekly pilates, and force myself to go for kick boxing for some cardio workouts.
running is just not my thing anymore. sobs.
