looking at the past couple months of my spending, i realise how much damage i have done to my bank account:
- Handbags (Prada, Chanel, Miu Miu, LV)
- Lasik
- Skincare (SK2, Dermalogica, Joyce Lim)
- Mini laptop
these are the items that have chalk up the bulk of my spending in addition to my other expenditures and commitments which i have to pay.
OMGGGGGG. the woes of growing up. no more swiping my dad's supp card in yesteryears where i'm able to get away with it cos i'm just a poor student.
looking at the above mentioned items, i've no regrets splurging on some of them. lasik is after all a long term investment, 4k in exchange for at least a good 20 years of convenience before long sightedness and cataract sets in is definitely worth it. gave my laptop to my younger brother and bought a reasonably priced mini notebook for my daily usage isn't exactly what you call impulsive buying either. and for skincare, it finally dawn upon me that the big bad sun (horror of horrors!) is actually harmful to our skin and complexion. and it took me 10 stubborn years to finally succumb to skincare products after a recent trip to my dermatologist after a minor breakout. being fair is the new tan. LOL.
as for bagsssssssss, eeeeps. its one of my, if not the most, guilty impulsive splurges. i think the amt i spend on bags this year is probably worth 1/4 of my car. omg. I NEED TO STOP LOOKING AT BAGS.
the woes of growing up. with spending power comes great responsibility....... in controlling it.
let's go xh!self controlllllll. lol
