Meet Best Friend No. 1, Gao the Bao

i call him bao coz his face is as fat as a bao.

his actual name is Lionel Gao. (i feel like im writing a haiku poem)

ok la i don't call him bao. i call him Gao which is pretty ironic cos he's only 158cm (stop insisting u're 159!)

he's also the kiam-est person i've ever met. he REFUSED TO BUY ME A RICE BURGER from McDonald's!!!

to think i went all the way down to KAP to do a survey for him. tsk. some kind of best friend right. ( eh pls bid for ur t-shirt on yahoo auctions k)

Anyway, he's probably the only person who has seen me cry with mucus dripping all over. and who doesn't mind travelling all the way down from siglap to west coast just coz i'm sobbing and bawling like a baby.

and he bitches with me like nobody's business. and when we combine powers, we can be really cruel. so don't mess with us ok. WAHAHAHHAa.

ok la we're both really nice people. we also quarrel like nobody's business and that's when everyone gets involved coz we'll be busy calling everyone up and bitching about each other.

We call him Lam cos we think his actual name, Yick Ho, is really uncool.

and the photo is really apt becos nobody eats like Lam does. like SERIOUSLY.

he noes ALL the good food and where to get them.

i like lam cos he gives sensible advice (when i really need them). other than that, he talks alot of bullshit and he's really lame.

and he was there through my most depression period together with gao (partly cos i think he stays really near me. ahahahah)

but he abandoned us to be a doctor. (WHAT'S WRONG WITH BEING AN ENGINEER!!!)

anyway lam's ur typical honky tong boy. eats alot, farts alot and can be pretty generous. SO ADORABLE. ahahhaa

but he can also be annoying cos when his gf calls, he throws us aside like garbage. sex before friends!!!TSKTSK.

Anyway, i've known Liyan (or yellow coz her surname's huang. hur hur) since primary 1. dat's like 15 years of our lives! and we were in the same class from pri 1 all the way to 6 until she abandoned me for smelly nanyang.

but i can't blame her cos her chinese has always been superb. she's the reason why i went into EM1 coz i copied her ting xie shamelessly. (dat's why i befriended you wat. AHHAAHHa)

no la i where got so evil. liyan taught me how to be COOL back in primary school ok. she taught me rollerblading and ice skating!! we were like HOW COOL RIGHT. ahahahaha.

other than her coolness (puke), i love liyan cos she tolerates my whiny-ness which many girls find it hard to do so. she's also my shopping, bitching and tanning/swimming kaki and she makes me study when she was still in NUS. she's so motherly but she also another one la. abandon me to be a food nutritionist in adeleide.

Sob. all my best friends are leaving one by one.

This is Best Friend No. 4

She's Amanda Nio Qing Xia and i call her Niooooooo for short. or when i'm spastic, i call her green prawn.

she's also my k2 partner whom i've won many medals with and also my toughest competitor in a K1. she's small but she's fiesty ok. don't pray pray.

i squabble so much with her in a boat that sometimes i feel she's like my pseudo boyfriend.

but i've known her since sec 2 and we've been through more than most best friends to know that squabbles in the boat are trivial matters. although sometimes i do feel like strangling her.

i still love her cos she buys nice birthday presents for me :) AHAHahahhaa.

no la. i love her cos she has tons of faith in me i dunno why (although many times i tell her that doesn't work on me.)

Lastly (i save the best for the last), this is my BESTEST friend. (sorry gao u've been dethroned)

he goes by the name of Jeremy Sun and he happens to be my boyfriend. and lover. and soulmate. i don't think he needs much elaboration cos i write about him all the time.
